Hi, Phyllis Clarke suggested that I join 1X, and also suggested that I introduced myself. I've know Phyllis and Mel Blackstone for many years though another site. I might recognize a few more names as I get familiar with the site. By day, I'm an industrial photographer, but I like to do "creative edits" in Photoshop for my personal work. I've been moving more to creating composites with both images and illustration, and some just illustration. I've just posted a few of my images so far. This looks like an interesting site, and hopefully I'm have some time to spend on it. I'm also a member of the Adobe Community of Professionals (ACP), specializing in Photoshop. I also write scripts for Photoshop to help automate it, as well as come up with creative processes using scripts - will post some later. I've written a UI for the new Deco script in Photoshop that allows normal users, who don't want to do any coding to change the way the deco scripts work. This script is available on my website uebelephoto.com under the links tab (The site needs major overhaulinig!) The script is free and there are instructions on how to use it. Adobe is considering this script as a blueprint for a future release of PS, but I don't know more than that.

There will a problem with the image of the face, because made with Painter and not photographic based. The image must be photographic based... some illustrative talent in PS is welcome.

In the past 3D and CRI were not admitted and were instant rejected: 1x rules.

Unless the owner Ralf decides 3D and CRI are welcome, I advise you to upload only photographic based images...can be treated with Photoshop , plug-ins and some illustration.

Hi Ginny,

select the picture you wish to upload and next to the 'comments' button at the bottom of the page should be the cog/wheel, select this and a menu will appear that will display the weekly theme option.

I am new to 1x and a new member of this group, which caught my eye while browsing the groups list. A company employee by day but passionate with photography, I am awed by the level of photography here and I am really excited with the prospect of exchanging with pros and more experienced photographers. I am relatively new to digital photography and post processing but I really like experimenting to find new ways of changing and presenting my photos.
